The Art of Life

A hip photog I know made a friendly suggesting that blogging should be fun. I agree! So I am going to try to spice things up a bit on the blog. I must admit I was hesitant to even start one…as there’s a reason I am found BEHIND the camera…I’m not a fan of being the center of attention..but in spite of myself I seem to have a following…clients, friends, fellow photogs, and blog readers in general…and that’s awesome! So…why don’t you all let me know what you would like to see and if I like your idea, I think a gift is in order! How’s a free 8×10 sound? C’mon…help me out…it will be fun!!!

In the meantime here’s a few recent personal favorites. I’m so lucky to have such fun kids to model at any given time, unfortunately their pics often sit on my hard drive for months before I finally get the chance to process them! Thanks to the rain I was cooped up inside long enough to get lots done last week. So here’s some recent faves…

If you can even call it that…sometimes its just too much fun to be work! Last night I had the pleasure of photographing and just hanging out with this beautiful, smart & sweet senior. She has the world ahead of her and clearly a great family to stand behind her. I had a blast and I think we got some really fabulous images! C & family…I hope you like them! Here’s a sneak peek!:)

I am trying to keep up with the sneak peeks & other fun blogging plans and I know I fell behind with the new site launch. I’ll be making every effort to keep up…but its just lil’ ole me running the show around here and I sometimes have to prioritize…and getting the images finished & in clients’ hands comes first! but I’m going to try harder to be a better blogger…promise

Welcome to the new & improved LifeArt Images!!! It has been a while in the making but my new website is finally complete! As I was putting it together I got to revisit all my favorite sessions and images…and just realize how many fabulous families and gorgeous kids (inside AND out!) I’ve worked with…and how much I love my job!

I’m so excited about the new & think you will be too! I will now be able to have my client slideshows right within my site accessible with a password and there will be a shopping cart as well!

At a recent ACPCG session I had the honor of meeting Sebastian James Cruz, a sweet little soul, born on July 5. Sebastian was born with Trisomy 13 Syndrome. Sebastian went to his Heavenly Father last night at 9pm. Sebastian will always be a precious and beautiful little boy, and his parents, Sara & Manuel want everyone to know about him.
